2012-05-21 On March 15, 2012, Tsisana Joiashvili, a teacher at the Public School N1 in the village of Apeni was dismissed from work. The school principal, Tamar Tskipurishvili, cited the appointment of a new manager at school as grounds for the dismissal. Tsisana Joishvili contends that she was dismissed due to the political activities of her son, Zurab Gamezardashvili, who is a member of the initiative group of Georgian Dream’s office in Lagodekhi.
