On September 29, in a square rehabilitated by the Mayor’s Office near building N1a of Gldaniskhevi settlement (Gldanula), members of the movement Shecvale tried to replace GD party flags with the flags of Georgia. Locals expressed protest about it, which grew into a confrontation. Patrol police was called at the scene. Members of the movement Shecvale believe that placing party flags in a municipal square amounts to the use of administrative resources. Locals presented signatures during the incident to prove that residents of building N1a had agreed to the installment of the flags in the square. Chair of GD organization in Gldani, Beka Mikautadze told ISFED that installment of the flags does not violate the law.

Similar incident has occurred in the same square before, when the Labor Party members tried to replace the flags.
