According to the UNM representatives, on October 11, in village Khovle, their MP candidate Badri Basishvili and mayoral candidate Nugzar Noniashvili had a meeting with voters. During the meeting, they were approached by mayoral representative in village Khovle, Bachana Khutsishvili, who was under the influence of alcohol, and due to a verbal confrontation the meeting was disrupted. According to Nugzar Noniashvili, an hour before the meeting began, Bachana Khutsishvili was at the meeting place and this way, he was trying to psychological pressure the locals.

According to Bachana Khutsishvili, on October 11, he spent the entire day outside a nursery of village Khovli and he was completely sober. He said he was there since the road from the nursery to the public school was being paved that day. According to Khutsishvili, he did not disrupt the meeting. Upon request of the UNM leaders, he left the territory and returned for the works only after they had already left.
