On October 10, an event celebrating 160th anniversary of Lado Meskhishvili State Theatre was held in Kutaisi, which, according to local representatives of Lelo, was attended by the GD majoritarian candidate for Kutaisi, Zaza Lominadze. In addition, the theatre administration denied Lelo representative’s request to attend the event, citing that "officials” would be in attendance, including the president, so they could not allow any third persons.

The theatre administration confirmed to ISFED observer that Zaza Lominadze attended the event. They also confirmed that he spoke at the event, but explained that the remarks were only congratulatory, and not politics-related.
