Giorgi Mukeria, a representative of Kutaisi mayor in Sulkhan-Saba administrative unit, was fired in July. Speaking to ISFED, Mukeria said that the mayor was forcing him to resign and that he had been fired by the order because he had not written the statement himself. He said that although the dismissal order did not contain a specific reason, it was preceded by an activity on the social network - critical comments on public posts, the screens of which the mayor himself showed and told him that he would be fired because of them. Mukeria`s case is being considered in the court.
