2021-08-30 On July 18 the speech of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri was interrupted in the Parliament during the very first sentence by the opposition MPs. The protest of the opposition and the journalists was followed by a verbal confrontation between the members of the majority and the opposition. One of the leaders of the National Movement, Tina Bokuchava tried to approach the seat of the Speaker, but the majority MP, Shalva Papuashvili actually picked her up and removed the MP from the area. According to Bokuchava, Mgaloblishvili initially tried to do that, but then Papuashvili joined him.
