2021-09-04 Suliko Beridze was fired from the LEPL Laboratory Research Center on allegedly political grounds. He was asked to submit a letter of resignation due to his presence at the opening of the Batumi office of For Georgia party. He refused to resign at will, after which his contract was terminated.
