2012-07-13 On June 13, 2012, in the village of Sabatlo, activist of the coalition Georgian Dream Artiom Ovsepian was physically assaulted by unknown individuals when he was working in a watermelon orchid. Artiom Ovsepian’s mother alleges that the incident had to do with her son’s political activities and notes that a week ago, when he was distributing newspapers published by Free Georgia in the village of Sabatlo, he was warned by village governor Davit Gundadze to abandon the opposition or he would be in trouble.
