2012-07-13 On June 29, 2012, teacher Tamar Amonashvili was questioned as a witness after being dismissed from the village of Kalauri public school. She had received USD 117 from the international charity foundation Komagi. After the questioning, Tamar Amonashvili informed ISFED’s LTO that in late April 2012 she was dismissed for her spouse’s political beliefs. Tamar Amonashvili applied to the foundation in late May and opened an account at VTB bank. On June 29 she was visited by a district inspector who handed her a notice summoning her to Gurjaani Police Department for questioning by investigator Irakli Shukakidze.
