2012-07-18 On March 27, 2012 Revaz Sakevarishvili resigned from the position of a Forbes Georgia editor in chief. In its March edition U.S. Forbes dedicated a prominent article to an oligarch and the leader of the Georgian opposition, Bidzina Ivanishvili, who is 153th in a list of billionaires, drafted by the magazine. According to the former editor, Gagik Yeghiazaryan-the founder of Media Partners which is as company entitled to publish Forbes, demanded him to replace the article with the questions that bypassed political issues because he did not want to upset the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Gela Bejuashvili, with whom he had a good relations.
