2012-08-13 On August 6 2012, Giorgi Chincharauli, resident of Gamarjveba village and activist of Coalition Georgian Dream, was arrested in Dedoplistskaro. He told an ISFED long-term observer that he came to Dedoplistskaro for his business when he was approached by law enforcement officers who took him to Sighnaghi Isolator for no apparent reason. As Giorgi Chincharauli said, he was not told why he was arrested and he was denied the right to a phone call. A few hours later, Giorgi Chincharauli was taken into court and was imposed with a fine of 400 GEL according to Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offences (disobedience to the commend of police officer, military personnel, Special State Protection Service employee or law enforcement police officer).
