2012-07-24 In an interview with ISFED’s LTO, journalists of Guria News, Giorgi Girkelidze and Zhana Megrelishvili declared that they were finishing up journalistic reporting on July 24, during the visit of the president, when president’s security officer approached them and told to leave the territory. They took their photo camera and deleted photos they had taken. On July 29, 2012, the president was holding a meeting with voters in the village of Bakhvi. According to Zhana Megrelishvili, security officers did not let them in to attend the meeting; until they took away their audio recorder and photo cameras.
