2012-09-03 According to correspondent of Maestro TV Sopo Zhghenti, the very same day supporters of the UNM wearing the UNM’s shirts hit her with a hand when she was preparing a material about Bidzina Ivanishvili’s meeting with voters in the resort of Beshumi, and started moving towards the camera. The journalist turned to a police officer standing nearby but her claim was ignored. In an interview with the ISFED’s LTO, journalist of Maestro TV Sopo Zhgenti said that during the incident in Beshumi supporters of the coalition Georgian TV were aggressive towards Real TV Company and interfered in their work.
2012-08-04 On August 4, 2012 during the national holiday “Shuamtoba” confrontation between members of “Georgian Dream” and “United National Movement” took place. Incident started after attempt of members of “georgian dream” to come near to the concert stage. Immediately about 200 person in t-shirts of “United National Movement” (with inscription “I love Georgia”) emerged from the crowd and tried to block the way to concert hall, in order not to give Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili and his supporters an opportunity to come near to the stage. In confrontation were actively involved public servants and members of local government, especially the governor of Khelvachauri Municipality, Mr. Teimuraz Dumbadze.
