2013-01-21 On January 21, activists of the Georgian Dream demanded resignation of a newly appointed Gamgebeli Giorgi Loladze (Georgian Dream). Gamgebeli met with the rally participants but they only exchanged accusations and the meeting did not yield any results. Loladze was accused of nepotism. They were asking about the reason why he did not dismiss trustees of Kashmi and Mzisguli together with other trustees. Gamgebeli explained that they had not committed any violations and therefore, they were able to maintain their offices. “You are manipulated by Tina Khidasheli. You are unable to make your own decisions. Staff changes were clearly affected by nepotism” – participants told Loladze. Giorgi Loladze, whose candidacy was supported by the Georgian Dream, was appointed last year. He replaced staff in the office of Gamgeoba as well as all village trustees, except for Khashmi and Mzisguli.
