2012-10-31 On October 31 activists of the Georgian Dream staged a protest rally outside Poti City Hall, demanding appointment of the Georgian Dream’s candidate as Mayor. Amid the protest, Majoritarian MP of Poti Eka Beselia met with Sakrebulo Chairperson and members, saying that Sakrebulo should make a decision in consideration of people’s will and that it should announce a competition to allow everyone to participate. 13 Chairperson of Poti Sakrebulo Vano Saghinadze said that the protest rally outside the administrative offices constituted a pressure against Sakrebulo.
