2013-02-28 12 employees were dismissed in Kazbegi Municipality, including Deputy Gamgebelis, department heads and specialists. According to ISFED’s coordinator, these persons were actively involved in pre-election campaigning in favor of the UNM; however, lack of discipline has been cited as official grounds for the dismissals. Hiring was based on party affiliation. The following our employees were dismissed in February: a trustee, two department heads and a head of information office.
