2013-01-15 On January 15, several women went on a hunger strike demanding resignation of Gamgebeli. Former teammates confronted Ileg Iadze for his HR policy. On January 16, law enforcement authorities forced hunger strikers to leave the building of Gamgeoba. On January 18, protesters in the bureau of Davit Onoprishvili, majoritarian MP of Kaspi stopped their hunger strike. With regard to the two-week long confrontation and hunger strike in Kaspi, Oleg Iadze explained that it had all been orchestrated by Irakli Alasania’s relative Giorgi Bestavashvili who had been fined three times for illegal use of drugs. Giorgi Bestavishvili filed in court against Iadze over the allegations. On January 22, a closed meeting was held between MP Davit Onoprishvili and the hunger strikers protesting against Oleg Iadze but the parties could not reach an agreement.
