2012-12-22 Protest rallies demanding replacement of municipal authorities and inspection of financial documents of Gamgeoba and Sakrebulo were launched in late December in Abasha. On December 22, population of Abasha staged a protest rally outside the building of Sakrebulo, protesting against members of the competition (certification) commission and demanding their replacement. Participants stated that the commission was manned by members of the UNM, hindering making of fair decisions. Rallies continued during following days.
