2012-12-27 On December 27, the protesters assembled outside Gamgeoba offices for a warning rally. They were protesting election of Sakrebulo Chairperson in a hasty manner and expressing their disapproval of the method. They were also demanding replacement of municipal authorities by representatives of the Georgian Dream and lobbied for the appointment of Gela Khutsishvili to the position of Gamgebeli. Gamgebeli himself, Zviad Epitashvili stated that he was not going to resign at his own will. On January 4, protesters staged a rally demanding resignation of Gamgebeli. They declared no confidence to Gardabani Gamgebeli and demanded his replacement with Tamaz Chelidze.
