2012-12-24 Recently there has been a confrontation between supporters of the Georgian Dream, as over favoring different candidates for the position of Gamgebeli. On December 24, some supporters of the Georgian Dream invaded Gamgeoba, calling for resignation of Gamgebeli. Instead, they demanded appointment of Levan Lobzhanidze, the candidate that they favored and protested against another candidate nominated by the coalition, Ina Kapanadze. Adigeni Gamgebeli declared that he was not going to resign as he had been elected legally.
