2013-01-16 On January 16 there was an armed confrontation between representatives of the Georgian Dream in Ozurgeti. According to the reports, there was a physical clash between Acting Gamgebeli Kote Sharashenidze and member of the local office of the Georgian Dream, Nestor Ramishvili. The incident occurred late at night when Kote Sharashenidze was visiting Nestor Ramishvili at home. Verbal confrontation grew into a fight, where Sharashenidze hit Ramishvili with a butt of a firearm and fired several times. MIA launched insvesitgation under Article 118 of the Criminal Code. Both parties to the conflict were summoned for questining. Acting Gamgebeli rejected allegations but the fact was confirmed by oppositional members of Ozurgeti Sakrebulo.
