2013-02-01 On February 1, in Kutaisi City Hall, Deputy Mayor Amiran Dzotsenidze verbally abused head of the administrative department of Kutaisi City Hall Tengiz Topuridze in the office of Sakrebulo Chairperson. One of the member sof Sakrebulo, Mamuka Mghvdelidze informed journalists of the incident. According to him, Tengiz Topuridze has been subjected to pressure, as recently he confronted municipal authorities. This was been confirmed by Tengiz Topuridze himself during his meeting with journalists. As to the Deputy Mayor, he maintains that he never abused him physically but confirms that they had a verbal confrontation. According to the reports, the confrontation in the office of Sakrebulo Chairperson was triggered by the decision to increase number of employees, which Tengiz Topuridze objected to. On February 2, Deputy Mayor Amiran Dzotsenidze and Sakrebulo Chairperson Amiran Khvadagiani were questioned in Kutaisi Police Department.
