2013-01-17 on January 17 law enforcement authorities charged Gamgebeli of Old Tbilisi Nikoloz Melia under two Articles – para.1, Article 205 (abetting hiding of property) and para.1, Article 232 (abuse of power). Melia was questioned in relation to Cartu Banki, where he’s been charged with organizing and carrying out auctions maliciously. The court of first instance ordered bail in the amount of GEL 25 000 as a preventive measure. The defendant appealed the decision
