On June 30, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze
informed the public that in the 7th micro district of Gldani, so called "Pomegranate Park” will be rehabilitated and a 10,000-square-meter recreational area will be built. The project has been known for several months and the local board held a meeting with the population already in February and informed them of the planned construction works, although the start coincided directly with the pre-election period.
In Gldani district, intensification of infrastructure works has been observed since May. The official Facebook
page of the board provides the population with information on the progress of infrastructure works on an almost daily basis since May.
