On August 3, the UNM’s supporter and coordinator of a non-governmental organization Free Zone in Akhaltsikhe, Irine Gelashvili, who was collecting signatures in the village of Sakuneti, in favor of the presidential candidate of the UNM, Davit Bakradze, was subjected to verbal and physical abuse by one of the locals, Beso Kukchiani. Soon after, Irine Gelashvili and her neighbor, who is also a supporter of the UNM, found that windows of their homes had been smashed....
