On February 6, Majoritarian MP of Khashuri Valeri Gelashvili and Gamgebeli Giorgi Beraia presented Bano Gelashvili as a trustee of Surami territorial unit to the local population. On December 12, Khashuri Gamgebeli Roin Makharoblidze (UNM) submitted a resignation letter later accepted at Sakrebulo meeting. With majority of votes, Giorgi Beraia was appointed Acting Gamgebeli. Sakrebulo members state that Giorgi Beraia has not been affiliated to any party and has never pursued political activities.
