On May 20, 2012, at 00:45, head of the coalition Georgian Dream’s Khobi regional office Mamuka Kardava was driving back home when four unidentified individuals near a railroad crossing in the village of Nojikhevi, Khobi District physically attacked him. Mamuka Kardava contends that the assault was motivated by his political activities, alleging that law enforcers were involved in it....

On April 25, 2012, activists of the Coalition Georgian Dream, Shorena Gelenidze and Teona Kuchava, were summoned as suspects of theft from Chaladidi nursery school due to one of the tutors, Eka Bolkvadze allegedly losing USD 100. As a result of the allegation, the chief of police warned Shorena Gelenidze to abandon the Georgian Dream or both she and her brother would be “taken care of”....
