On October 9, members of Nika Melia’s campaign office received insulting and threatening messages on their phones, in Viber and in Messenger. 

Head of Melia’s campaign office, Tornike Bikashvili told ISFED that many people received almost identical texts, including those who are not from Gldani and who attended a large meeting held on October 9 in Gldani. He thinks that the messages have been sent by the same person or the same group. They did not report it to the police because they do not think the police will investigate it. According to the party representatives, similar messages were also sent to members of Khatia Dekanoidze’s campaign office from the same phone number.
