A CASE OF POLITICAL PRESSURE / THREATS AND OBSTRUCTION
2020-10-26 On October 12, Lelo’s majoritarian candidates, Irakli Kupradze, Paata Tsivadze, Zurab Goliadze and supporters of the party, who arrived at the central marketplace of Kobuleti for campaigning, were not allowed inside the market by the administration. Owners of the market, Aleksandre Romanadze and Malkhaz Romanadze openly declared that they were supporters of the Georgian Dream and they would not allow other parties to meet with people that work in their premises and disseminate campaign materials. In addition, one of the directors had problems with TBC Bank previously, which is how he justified his position.
