According to a local representative of Lelo, employees of the Georgian Manganese LLC are being pressured. ISFED observer verified the report with the company employees. One of them confirmed that their supervisor is interested in their party preferences, while another refrained from speaking about the matter.

Employees of the Georgian Manganese LLC visited a friend at Lelo Office a few times. After that, a call was made to their cell phones with the following message: "what is going on, why are you going there?” ISFED observer found out that the call had been made by the mine director. According to a representative of Lelo, Davit Chumburidze, he contacted the mine director and asked him why he was interested in his friends’ visit to the party office. The mine director responded that he is reaching out in order to warn his subordinates once again that "there’s no time for politics now.”
