2012-08-02 Mr. Kakhaber Gogiashvili was detained for participation in Karaleti incident. According to decision of Gori city court he was sentenced to 15 days of administrative imprisonment. He was placed in insulator for temporary imprisonment of Sagarejo district, where he was an object of psychological influence and coercion from employees of the insulator. On July 25, 2012 GYLA applied to chief prosecutor of Georgia with request to start investigation of mentioned fact. GYLA also applied to minister of internal affairs and requested protection of fundamental rights of persons who are imprisoned in those facilities.
